Terms and conditions of sale

These terms and conditions of sale are entered into by PREMIUM WATER DISTRIBUTION SAS, whose registered office is located at Castet Arrouy FR-32340, 1570 route de Miradoux, registered with the Auch Trade and Companies Register under number 852 344 456 00011, manager of starwaterfilter. com and, on the other hand, by any individual or legal entity wishing to make a purchase via the starwaterfilter.com website hereinafter referred to as "the buyer".

Preamble on current promotions

Promotion code SWF10: valid on purchases of 150 euros or more until 07/31/2025. Cannot be combined with other promotions.

1- Purpose

The purpose of these terms and conditions of sale is to define the contractual relationship between Premium Water Distribution SAS and the buyer and the conditions applicable to any purchase made through the https://starwaterfilter.com website. The purchase of a product through this website implies unreserved acceptance by the buyer of these terms and conditions of sale, which the buyer acknowledges having read prior to ordering. Before any transaction, the purchaser declares, on the one hand, that the purchase of products on starwaterfilter.com is not directly related to a professional resale activity and is limited to strictly personal use or collective use if the purchaser is a company. On the other hand, the buyer must have full legal capacity, allowing him to commit himself under these terms and conditions. Premium Water Distribution SAS reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time, in order to comply with any new regulation or to improve the use of its website. Therefore, the applicable conditions will be those in force at the date of the order by the buyer.

2- Products

The products offered are those listed on starwaterfilter.com by Premium Water Distribution SAS, while stocks last. Premium Water Distribution SAS reserves the right to modify the product range at any time. Each product is presented on the website in the form of a description of its main technical characteristics (capacity, use, composition, etc.). The photographs are as accurate as possible but are not binding on the Seller. The sale of the products presented on starwaterfilter.com is intended for all buyers residing in countries that fully authorise the entry of these products into their territory.

3- Prices

For countries in the Euro zone, the prices shown on the product sheets of the internet catalogue are prices in Euros (€) including all taxes (TTC). For other countries, the mention TTC does not include the VAT in force in the country of delivery. As a result, any taxes due at the time of customs clearance are the sole responsibility of the purchaser. The buyer must be aware of the tax rules in force in the country of delivery. Premium Water Distribution SAS is subject to VAT, which means that VAT can be reclaimed by professional buyers. Any change in the VAT rate may be reflected in the price of the products. Premium Water Distribution SAS reserves the right to modify its prices at any time, it being understood that the price indicated in the catalogue on the day of the order will be the only price applicable to the buyer. The prices indicated do not include any additional delivery charges.

4- Ordering and payment terms

- Payment by cheque (for France only): the buyer selects the products he/she wishes to order in the "basket", modifies if necessary (quantities, references...), checks the delivery address or enters a new one. The shipping costs are then calculated and submitted to the buyer, along with the name of the carrier. Once the above elements have been validated, the purchaser chooses the payment method of their choice: "Payment by cheque" and accepts these general terms and conditions of sale by ticking the corresponding box, then invites them to pay for their order by clicking on the "Pay for my order" button. This last click constitutes the final conclusion of the contract. Once the order has been validated, the buyer will receive an order confirmation indicating that payment is awaited. In order to finalize the payment and process the order, the buyer must print this order form and send it, along with the cheque made out to "Premium Water Distribution SAS", to the address indicated when validating the order. No cash payment should be sent. Only cheques issued by a French bank will be accepted. As soon as the cheque is received, the order will be processed and the buyer will be informed by e-mail to which the invoice will be attached. Premium Water Distribution SAS will ship the products at the earliest 2 working days after cashing the cheque corresponding to the order..

- Payment by bank transfer: the buyer selects the products he wants to order in the "basket", modifies if necessary (quantities, references...), checks the delivery address or enters a new one. Any delivery charges are then calculated and submitted to the buyer, along with the name of the carrier. Once the above elements have been validated, the purchaser chooses the payment method of their choice: "Payment by bank transfer" and accepts these general terms and conditions of sale by ticking the corresponding box, then invites them to pay for their order by clicking on the "Pay for my order" button. This last click constitutes the final conclusion of the contract. As soon as the order has been validated, the buyer receives an order form confirming that the order has been registered. In order to finalize the payment and process the order, the buyer must contact his bank in order to transfer the amount of his order to Premium Water Distribution SAS' bank account, whose details are communicated to the buyer. As soon as the transfer is received, the order will be processed and the buyer will be informed by e-mail to which the invoice will be attached.
- Secure payment by PAYPAL account: the buyer selects the products they wish to order in the "basket", modifies them if necessary (quantities, references, etc.), checks the delivery address or enters a new one. The shipping costs are then calculated and submitted to the buyer, along with the name of the carrier. Once the above elements have been validated, the buyer chooses the payment method of their choice: "Payment with PAYPAL" and accepts these general terms and conditions of sale by ticking the corresponding box, then they are invited to pay for their order by clicking on the "Pay for my order" button. Finally, the buyer is redirected to the secure PAYPAL interface to enter their PAYPAL account details or personal credit card details in complete security. If the payment is accepted, the order is recorded and the contract definitively formed. Payment by PAYPAL account or credit card is irrevocable. In the event of fraudulent use of the card, the buyer may demand that the card payment be cancelled, and the sums paid will then be re-credited or refunded. The holder of a bank card is not liable if the disputed payment has been proven to have been made fraudulently, at a distance, without physical use of the card. To obtain reimbursement of the fraudulent debit and any bank charges that the transaction may have generated, the cardholder must dispute the debit in writing with his or her bank within 70 days of the transaction, or 120 days if provided for in the contract with the bank. The amounts debited will be reimbursed by the bank within one month of receipt of the cardholder's written objection. The Cardholder shall not be liable for any costs incurred in returning the sums debited.

- Secure payment by PAYPAL account in 4 instalments : the rules for accepting payment in 4 instalments are governed by Paypal and are not the responsibility of starwaterfilter.com. The buyer must first choose the option of payment by Paypal account, and it is in the Paypal interface that he will be offered the possibility of a staggered payment.

5- Retention of title

Premium Water Distribution SAS retains full ownership of the products sold until full payment of the price, in principal, fees and taxes included.

6- Withdrawal

Under Article L121-20 of the French Consumer Code, the buyer has a period of fourteen calendar days from the delivery of his order to exercise his right of withdrawal and thus make the return of the product to the seller for reimbursement. For more details on return conditions, please consult our Return policy.

As indicated in our returns policy, in accordance with article L221.28, this right of withdrawal cannot be exercised on goods that have been unsealed by the consumer after delivery and therefore cannot be returned for reasons of hygiene or health protection. Ultimate Star Filter® water filters fall into this category and therefore cannot be returned if the cardboard box has been unsealed (the sticker closing the box is proof of this) and/or if the filters have been removed from their plastic wrapping.

7- Delivery

Deliveries are made to the address indicated on the order form, which can only be within the agreed geographical area. Deliveries are made by UPS, UPS access point, Mondial Relay, La Poste, Chronopost, GLS, DHL FEDEX, TNT, DPD, depending on the country of destination and the availability of the carrier in the buyer's delivery zone. All delivery services allow the buyer to track his/her parcel using a tracking number. Packages are delivered against a signature, except for tracked postal deliveries. Delivery times are given as an indication only; if they exceed thirty days from the order, the sales contract may be cancelled and the buyer reimbursed. Premium Water Distribution SAS may provide the buyer with the tracking number of his parcel by e-mail. If the buyer does not collect his order within the time indicated in the message he received indicating the availability of his parcel, the costs related to the shipment and the return of his order to Premium Water Distribution SAS premises will be billed to him, as any new shipment. For home deliveries, in case of absence of the buyer, the carrier will either make a new delivery or drop the parcel at the nearest relay point of its network. It is the buyer's responsibility to use the carrier's online tracking system to check the progress of their parcel and to find out what arrangements the carrier has made in their absence.

- PARCEL DELIVERED TO ANOTHER RELAY POINT: it may happen that a relay point is modified during the delivery process. The reasons for a change of relay point are an internal decision of the carrier and cannot affect the correct application of the delivery service. The buyer will be informed of the new delivery point and/or may also be asked to choose it via a request for instructions received by e-mail. The buyer is obliged to collect his/her parcel before the end of the storage period.

- PARCELS MADE AVAILABLE AT A RELAY POINT FOLLOWING A FAILURE TO DELIVER AT HOME: It may happen that the carrier decides to make a parcel available at a collection point following a failure to deliver at home. The reasons for this action cannot call into question the correct application of the sales service. The buyer is obliged to collect the parcel before the end of the storage period. If the customer refuses to collect the pending parcel, it will be returned to our warehouse, and the products will then be reimbursed minus the return management costs, in accordance with our returns policy, paragraph Withdrawal.

- PARCEL REFUSED WITHOUT REASON, FAILURE TO DELIVER DUE TO ADDRESS ERROR OR NON-RETURN TO RETURN POINT: the outward and return costs will remain the responsibility of the recipient and will be deducted from the refund.

The buyer is responsible for checking the contents of each parcel on arrival. In the event of damage or missing items, it is essential to:

- Write down the RESERVATIONS you wish to make.

1 - Make SPECIFIC RESERVATIONS on the carrier's discharge document.
2 - CONFIRM THESE RESERVATIONS within 2 days to the carrier, by registered letter stating the reasons (article 105 of the French Commercial Code).
3 - The package must only be refused if it is in a totally damaged condition.

NO CLAIM will be possible, even with Premium Water Distribution SAS once the goods have been accepted.

8- Warranty

All products supplied by Premium Water Distribution SAS benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity provided by article L. 217-4 and following of the French Consumer Code and the guarantee against hidden defects provided by article 1641 and following of the French Civil Code.
In case of non-conformity of a product sold, it may be returned to Premium Water Distribution SAS who will take it back, exchange it or refund it.
Filtration system tanks are guaranteed for 12 months.
Ultimate Star Filter® filters are covered by a 2-year prorated warranty, calculated every 6 months, in full months from the date of delivery.
Gaskets and butterfly nuts are not covered by the warranty, except for defects noted during installation, for a period of 6 months from the date of purchase.
The brushed appearance of the tanks cannot be considered a defect. Stainless steel tanks are manufactured using a metallurgical process, with micro-sanding. Brushed stainless steel tanks are not mirrors. The micro-sanding inside the vats is more thorough. The resulting micro-scratches cannot be considered a defect.
All claims, requests for exchange, repair or refund require the agreement of Premium Water Distribution SAS after-sales service.
Premium Water Distribution SAS guarantees the products against material or manufacturing defects under normal conditions of use.
Premium Water Distribution SAS shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages caused to personal property, in particular by a defective unit, improper use, abuse, accident or negligence. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to prevent any misuse of the system and to replace parts when, due to natural wear and tear, they must be replaced in order to benefit from the warranty service.
This warranty will not apply to units which have been used for unintended purposes, or which have been modified in such a way as to impair its performance. This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is not transferable.
To trigger the warranty, the purchaser must imperatively send a request by email to Mail contact Star Water Filter, indicating their order reference and date, surname, first name and the reason for their claim. Once the agreement has been obtained, Premium Water Distribution SAS will inform the buyer of the return procedure, and will send by e-mail a label to be printed for the collection of the parcel. Product returns are free of charge throughout the warranty period.

The following actions automatically result in the cancellation of warranty cover:

1. Allowing one of the Ultimate Star Filter® filter elements to freeze
2. Using water from a dehumidifier with any of the Ultimate Star Filter® purification elements for daily use or filtering anything other than water.
3. Break or damage an Ultimate Star Filter® element as a result of a fall.
4. Leading to system failure due to incorrect assembly or maintenance.
5. Using a pressurised water device to prime filters.
6. Failing to remove the ultimate Star Filter® from the system before transporting or moving the system, resulting in broken rods.
7. Use water from a salt water softening system. Doing so may clog the Ultimate Star Filter® filter elements and/or cause the stainless steel to rust (see recommendations).
8. Do not use Star Water Filter® equipment in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations or instructions.

Any accidental breakage is not covered by the warranty.

9- Liability

Premium Water Distribution SAS is only bound by an obligation of means in the distance selling process. It cannot be held liable for any damage resulting from the use of the Internet network, such as loss of data, intrusion, virus, service interruption or other involuntary problems.

10- Intellectual property rights

All elements of the starwaterfilter.com website are and remain the exclusive intellectual property of Premium Water Distribution SAS. No one is authorized to reproduce, exploit, or use for any purpose whatsoever, even partially, elements of the site whether in the form of photo, logo, visual or text.

11- Personal data

Premium Water Distribution SAS is committed to preserving the confidentiality of information provided by the buyer, which he/she may be required to transmit in order to use certain services. Any information concerning the purchaser is subject to the provisions of law n° 78-17 of 6 January 1978. Internet users therefore have the right to access, modify and delete information concerning them. They may request this at any time by e-mail to - In addition, please consult our Privacy Policy.

12- Force majeure

The Parties will not be liable for the non-performance of their obligations in the event of the occurrence of a case of force majeure, defined as any unforeseeable, irresistible event resulting from circumstances beyond the Parties' control, making it impossible to perform the Contract.
In the event of the occurrence of a case of force majeure the Contract will be suspended until the disappearance, extinction or cessation of the case of force majeure. However, if it is not possible to resume performance of the Contract within thirty (30) days of the occurrence of the case of force majeure, the Parties will meet to discuss a modification to the Contract.
If the discussion fails, the Contract will be terminated ipso jure, without compensation on either side, by the more diligent Party and by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt sent to the other Party.

13- Dispute resolution

These conditions of distance selling are subject to French law. For any dispute or litigation, the competent court will be that of Auch.
