What is the useful volume of each model?
In all models, the upper tank is slightly smaller than the lower tank, for safety reasons, in order to prevent overflow if the lower tank is not completely empty.
As a reminder, here are the commercial names of our models:
The position of the tap on the lower tank, which results in a certain volume of water remaining below it, is completely normal. In addition, the fitting of the upper tank into the lower tank creates a 2 cm overlap, which cannot be filled with water.
This results in a calculation of the usable capacity for each model.
Usable capacity (filtered water in the lower tank):
- Mini Star Model: 5 liters
- Big Star Model: 8 liters
- Super Star Model: 12 liters
For your information, here are the volumes of residual water in the lower tank below the tap level, for each model.
- Mini Star Model: 1 liter
- Big Star Model: 1.2 liters
- Super Star Model: 1.5 liters
