The Mini Star matt black combines the most compact format in the range with a stronger, darker finish. It filters everyday tap water for one person or a two-person household.
Its gravity-fed operation requires no mains connection or electricity. Filtration is provided by the two included Ultimate Star Filter® elements.
Performance behind the design
The matt black finish does not alter filtration: this Mini Star uses the same Ultimate Star Filter® elements as the stainless-steel and matt cream versions, as well as the Big Star and Super Star sizes.

Nominal capacity of the pair
The two supplied elements represent an indicative service life of approximately two years, depending on water quality, the volume filtered and maintenance.
Cost calculated using a replacement pair sold for €150, excluding the initial cost of the system, water and maintenance.
Accessible results
The published performance results come from independent ISO/IEC 17025-accredited laboratories and cover PFAS, pesticides, heavy metals, pharmaceutical residues and microplastics.
The analysis programme also includes TFA, chlordecone and perchlorates. The materials used comply with European REACH and RoHS requirements.

Choose the right size
Its 19 cm diameter and empty weight of 1.7 kg make it easy to place in a small space. When transported empty, it can accompany a short stay, a visit to a holiday home or a motorhome trip.
For a larger household, high daily consumption or a more generous reserve, choose the Big Star 8.5 L or Super Star 12.3 L, both compatible with up to four filter elements.
Matt black finish
The AISI 304 stainless-steel chambers have a deep, low-reflection matt black finish. This version creates a graphic contrast on a light worktop and fits naturally into contemporary or dark-toned kitchens.
The stainless-steel and matt cream versions offer the same capacity, dimensions and filtration. The choice therefore depends on appearance; the system price and the price of matching accessories may differ according to the finish.
Ready for setup
Place the Mini Star on a flat, stable surface strong enough to support it. Allow sufficient clearance above the system so that the upper chamber can be removed and filled easily.
Follow the priming steps for both filter elements, then rinse and commission the system in accordance with the instructions.
Fill the upper chamber when the lower chamber is empty to prevent overflowing.
Ideally, consume filtered water within 24 hours and no later than 48 hours.
Clean the chambers, tap and filter elements regularly in accordance with Star Water Filter® recommendations.
The pair has a nominal capacity of approximately 6,000 L, representing around two years of use depending on the volume filtered and conditions of use.

No. The matt black, stainless-steel and matt cream versions use the same Ultimate Star Filter® elements and have the same 5.6 L capacity. The matt black version differs in appearance and its matching accessories.
Yes. All three sizes use Ultimate Star Filter® elements. The differences relate to capacity, dimensions and the maximum number of filters: two in the Mini Star and up to four in the Big Star and Super Star.
It is 19 cm in diameter and 45 cm high without the stand. With the optional black stand, its height reaches 62 cm. Allow enough clearance above the system to remove and fill the upper chamber.
Each Ultimate Star Filter® element has a nominal capacity of 3,000 L. The pair therefore represents approximately 6,000 L and around two years of use depending on water quality, the volume filtered, maintenance and the applicable recommendations.
It includes two AISI 304 stainless-steel chambers and a lid with a matt black finish, a non-slip ring, two Ultimate Star Filter® elements with their washers and wing nuts, two plugs for the unused openings, the tap selected when ordering, a priming washer, a Priming Starter and a Starclip. The compact diameter of the Mini Star allows two Ultimate Star Filter® elements to be installed simultaneously. The two remaining openings are closed with the supplied plugs to ensure correct use of the system.

With a new pair of Ultimate Star Filter® elements, the indicative flow rate reaches 14 to 16 L/h. This rate will vary over time depending on the water filtered and filter maintenance.
