The Big Star 8.5 litre model is the mid-range model in our range of gravity water filters. With a height of 51 cm and available in 3 modern, elegant finishes (stainless steel, matt cream or matt black), it will fit perfectly and discreetly into any style of kitchen.

It comes with 2 Ultimate Star Filter® filters, the result of a perfect combination of technology, efficiency, and simplicity. Designed in France after months of research and testing, the Ultimate Star Filter® filters ensure reliable filtration for healthy water.

☑️ Installation requires no construction work, no connection to the water supply, no tools, and no electricity. Everything is completely autonomous. Autonomous, but not automatic, the operation remains very simple and requires minimal maintenance.

The top tank is filled with water to be filtered, which, driven by gravity, passes through the filters. The water is thus purified and is then stored in the bottom tank to be consumed.

The Big Star is an intermediate model, perfectly suited to families of 2 to 4 people. Occasionally, it can be used for more people by filling it more frequently. Never be without filtered water, whatever the circumstances.

Note that the Big Star model is an upgradeable model that can accommodate two additional Ultimate Star Filter® filters to speed up filtration.

Intended use

This gravity filtration system is designed for standalone domestic use, without connection to the water network and without integration into a fixed installation. It can be used with tap water, but also with water whose origin and quality are known, intended for consumption, provided that the precautions for use indicated in the user instructions are followed.

However, it should not be considered a sole and automatic treatment solution in the event of suspected microbiological, chemical or accidental contamination.

Hygiene and good practices for use

Filtered water is intended to be consumed quickly. It is recommended to consume it within 24 hours after filtration, and within a maximum of 48 hours. Do not leave water standing for several days in the lower chamber. In the event of a prolonged absence, or if filtered water has remained in the system for more than 48 hours, empty the chamber, clean the system, then refill it with suitable water.

Cleaning, maintenance, priming and cartridge replacement must be carried out in accordance with the recommendations in the user instructions. The cartridges must be replaced according to the maximum capacity and frequencies indicated by Star Water Filter®. Beyond these recommendations, the stated performance can no longer be guaranteed.
